Kailua-Kona Bay

A small swimming beach, whose size understates its role in the world of swimming and triathlon, as the start of the swim course for the Ironman World Triathlon Championships. Famed also for clear water and stunning views while swimming tropical marine life and coral reefs. Recommended safest course is following the triathlon route, parallel to shore (buoys are in place year-round).
