The beach offers wide sandy shoreline with calm waters generally suitable for swimming, though lifeguards are on duty weekends only. Access is via State Park Road in Oregon, with ample parking available near the beach area. The park facilities include outdoor showers, restrooms, changing areas, and picnic spots. Beyond the beach, the park offers extensive amenities including hiking trails, a two-mile ADA accessible marshland boardwalk, Maumee Bay Lodge & Conference Center, golf course, nature center, marina, and campground facilities.
