Lake Cane

Lake Cane is home to the famous Lucky’s Lake Swim, a daily crossing tradition (6:30AM Monday-Friday, 7:45AM Saturdays). Find this private lake near Turkey Lake Road, parking at Lucky’s house (follow directions and confirm current swim times on luckyslakeswim.com). Sign waiver before first swim. The 1km course is marked with buoys and monitored by paddlers. Fresh water swimming – no currents or boats to watch for. Water quality consistently excellent. Not accessible by public transit. Basic facilities available at start/finish. First-timers should arrive 15 minutes early for orientation. Traditional post-swim signing of the whiteboard for crossing completions.
