The site is a small, well-maintained, sand and pebble beach where usually quiet, grassy Klode Park meets Lake Michigan. The park includes basic amenities like bathrooms, benches, and picnic areas. There are no lifeguards.

Water quality at Klode Park Beach is generally good, but it’s worth checking daily water quality reports posted by the Milwaukee Health Department, or by the USEPA, especially after heavy rains, which can impact bacterial levels. Lifeguards are not typically stationed here, so plan accordingly and prioritize safety by swimming with a buddy or in a group.
