Small sandy beach access to a designated 300m OW swim courses in the small Île Notre-Dame lake contained inside the island of the same name in the St-Lawrence River. This isn’t the quite the same experience as swimming in that surrounding river linking the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean, but it’s a thoughtful and accessible option when you can’t get to the river access sites near Montreal.
